Type in 120 degrees for the angle and click copy. This brings up the rotate tool dialog box. Hover on the center of the circles and hold option or alt and left click once. Then select the rotate tool from the tool bar. Then click align center again and everything will be aligned to the center of the artboard. You can select the artboard from this menu. By default with multiple objects selected it will align to the selection but in this case we want to align to the artboard. In the align panel on the right you can select the align center icon.
